Westminster Resources Ltd.
Westminster has 100% owned contiguous mineral concessions totalling approximately 17,854 hectares, the El Cobre property, located in southern Sonora State, Mexico. The geologic setting is considered prospective to host world-class precious and base metal deposits but little modern exploration has occurred in this overlooked mineral district.
The Company's focus has been to assemble and explore unique and newly-discovered targets including: (a) the Guayacan partially unroofed epithermal and copper-gold porphyry system, and (b) the Sierra hydrothermal diatreme breccia tertiary rhyolite hosted structure.
Highlights of the high grades of gold, silver and copper and large scale size of these two main exploration targets are reported in WMR News Releases dated July 21, 2015
, November 20, 2014
, and October 18, 2013
Systematic exploration of the Company's new mineral district is ongoing in this region of Sonora with well-developed infrastructure, favourable permitting, and a strong mining history and community support.
